Mobility Sunflower: A Different Kind of Mobility Company
In May 2026, Mobility Sunflower was born from a simple idea: mobility should be about people, not products.
Founded by Dan Hillerby and Natalie Gray, Mobility Sunflower was created from a shared passion for helping people maintain their confidence, independence and freedom.
Based in Stewarton, Mobility Sunflower is built around one simple principle:
The customer always comes first.
Dan and Natalie first met while working in the mobility industry. They quickly discovered that they shared the same values and, most importantly, the same commitment to providing honest, personal and supportive customer care.
For Dan, mobility has been part of his life for as long as he can remember. He has worked exclusively within the mobility industry, following in the footsteps of his parents, who both worked for Ashdale Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest mobility companies during the 1990s.
After years in the industry, Dan believed there was a better way to do things—a mobility company that focused less on selling products and more on understanding people.
That vision became Mobility Sunflower.
With a combined 34 years of mobility industry experience, Dan and Natalie take the time to understand each customer’s individual circumstances, challenges and goals. Rather than simply recommending a product, they look for the right solution for the person.
Dan is also passionate about professional advice and is the area’s only fully qualified mobility advisor, bringing additional knowledge and experience to every customer interaction.
And our advice doesn’t have to end with a purchase.
If you need guidance, we are happy to help—even if you eventually decide to purchase elsewhere. We believe good advice is valuable, and choosing the wrong mobility aid can be frustrating, expensive and potentially unsuitable for your needs.
It’s not about finding a customer for a product. It’s about finding the right solution for a customer.
Whether you’re looking for a mobility scooter, adjustable bed, living aid or simply some honest advice about your options, Dan and Natalie are here to help.
Come and meet the team at Mobility Sunflower in Stewarton and discover a different approach to mobility.
🌻 Mobility Sunflower – Where You Come First.

Mobility Sunflower: The Story of Dan and Natalie
In May 2026, Mobility Sunflower was born from a simple idea: mobility should be about people, not products.
Founded by Dan Hillerby and Natalie Gray, Mobility Sunflower is the realisation of a shared dream—to create a mobility company where the customer always comes first. Based in Stewarton, the company was built around a passion for helping people regain confidence, independence and freedom in their everyday lives.
Dan and Natalie first met while working in the mobility industry. It didn’t take long for them to recognise that they shared the same values and, most importantly, the same commitment to helping others.
For Dan, mobility is more than just a career—it is something that has been part of his life for as long as he can remember. He has worked exclusively within the mobility industry, following in the footsteps of his parents, who both worked for Ashdale Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest mobility companies during the 1990s.
But throughout his career, Dan had always believed there was another way of doing things: a mobility company that could offer customers a more personal, straightforward and genuinely supportive experience.
When Dan and Natalie began working together in November, they quickly developed a deep admiration for each other’s abilities and their shared approach to customer care. From there, an idea began to take shape.
Why not create a mobility company like no other?
Their vision was simple—to make the process of finding and choosing the right mobility aid as easy, comfortable and reassuring as possible.
“We know that none of our customers really want to be in our shop, and they don’t want to have to think about the future,” says Dan. “But we also know that the right products can make that future far better for them and their family.”
That philosophy is at the heart of everything Mobility Sunflower does.
Rather than simply selling a product, Dan and Natalie take the time to understand each individual customer—their circumstances, their challenges and, most importantly, what they want to achieve. With a combined 34 years of experience in the mobility industry, they use that knowledge to find practical solutions tailored to the person, rather than simply recommending a product from a catalogue.
Dan’s qualifications add another important dimension to the service. As the area’s only fully qualified mobility advisor, he is passionate about ensuring customers receive the right guidance from the very beginning.
“As the area’s only fully qualified mobility advisor, I’m very confident that I can make the whole journey as easy as possible.”
And the advice doesn’t have to end with a purchase.
Mobility Sunflower is happy to offer guidance to anyone who needs it—even if they ultimately decide to purchase their mobility aid elsewhere. That is because good advice can sometimes be just as valuable as the product itself. Choosing the wrong mobility aid can be frustrating, costly and, in some circumstances, may even make an existing condition worse.
For Dan and Natalie, it is about making sure people have the information they need to make the right decision for themselves.
It’s not about finding a customer for a product. It’s about finding the right solution for a customer.
That is what makes Mobility Sunflower different.
Whether you are looking for a mobility aid, considering your options for the future, or simply want some friendly, honest advice, Dan and Natalie are always happy to help.
So why not pop in, say hello to Dan and Natalie, and discover a different approach to mobility—one where you come first.
